It was a great weekend in Washington DC, at the Verizon Center this year, as Thunderbay and Alexa Boggio were Reserve Champion in the WIHS Childrens Jumper Finals. They missed winning the class by 3/100th of a second. It was a tough, fast field of 32 finalists but the course was built well and everyone seemed to have fun!
Chase Boggio and Hennessey won their High Junior Jumper Class, as they were the only ones to post a clean round, out of the field of 25 riders. The pair went on to finish 8th in the Senators Cup on Saturday and were awarded Reserve Champion of the Junior Jumper Division.
Chase and Massimo also finished 8th in the WIHS Equitation Finals, after switching horses with Molly Braswell to ride 'The General' in the final round. Lillie Keenan drew Massimo as her top ten finals ride and won the class!! Congrats to Lillie Keenan and all of the finalists on a tight race for the Equitation Championship!
